Training for Life · A Documentary Film

Some stories
deserve to be
told together.

We're looking for partners who believe in the power of patient stories — and who want their brand or mission seen alongside one of them.

The Film

A patient advocate.
An unlikely runner.
An extraordinary story.

Training for Life follows Samantha Sauer — certified patient advocate and CEO of GPACT — as she attempts to return to half-marathon training after years of devastating health setbacks, including multiple surgeries, septic infections, and a feeding tube that kept her alive.

The film is part comeback story, part advocacy portrait. It explores what it means to redefine success, adapt to a body that doesn't cooperate, and keep going — not just for yourself, but for the patients who are watching.

"You don't have to do this. You get to do this."
— Samantha Sauer

Why Partner

The right partnership
means something different
to everyone.

For Brands & Corporate Partners

Authentic storytelling at the intersection of health and endurance

If your brand is built around movement, resilience, or wellness, Sam's story is a natural home for your message. This isn't an ad — it's a documentary your audience will actually want to watch. We're looking for partners whose values align with the film, not just logos to fill a credits roll.

For Patient Advocacy Organizations

A film your community will see themselves in

Sam's story spans gastroparesis, type 1 diabetes, lupus, and the lived experience of navigating a system that doesn't always make it easy. For organizations serving patients with chronic illness, this film is an educational and advocacy tool — one that speaks in a language your members already know.
